Vijay Singh: No chance for a second Quail Hollow title
Vijay Singh has withdrawn from this week's Wells Fargo Championship with a back injury.
Singh pulled out of the tournament one day after the PGA Tour said it would not punish the 50-year-old Fijian over his admission that he used deer antler spray.
The tour said the World Anti-Doping Agency informed it that the spray contains only small amounts of a substance that is banned under the anti-doping policy - Insulin-like Growth Factor-1 (IGF-1).
They had been set to sanction Singh, who won at Quail Hollow in 2005, until WADA clarified their position on the spray on Tuesday.
He is the seventh player to withdraw from this week's stop on the PGA Tour, a list that also includes Dustin Johnson, Ian Poulter and David Toms.
