Inbee Park: South Korean displays LPGA Championship trophy
Next year's LPGA Championship will be played at a new venue and different date in order to provide a more even spread of the five women's majors.
The 2014 LPGA Championship will be staged at Monroe Golf Club in Pittsford, New York from August 14-17, switching from its traditional June date.
For the past four years, the event has been staged at the nearby Locust Hill Country Club - as the second of the five majors - just three weeks before the US Women's Open.
South Korean world No 1 Inbee Park won this year's LPGA Championship at Locust Hill earlier this month, beating Scotland's Catriona Matthew in a three-hole sudden death play-off.
Next year's majors will be held in April (Kraft Nabisco Championship), June (US Women's Open), July (Women's British Open), August (LPGA Championship) and September (The Evian Championship).
