Solheim Cup skippers Liselotte Neumann and Meg Mallon at Friday's opening ceremony in Colorado
Swedes Anna Nordqvist and Caroline Hedwall will open Europe's defence of the Solheim Cup when the biennial event tees off in Colorado on Friday morning.
The European skipper Liselotte Neumann has selected her compatriots for the opening foursomes match on day one which start at 7.40am local time.
Nordqvist and Hedwall will face American duo Lizette Salas and Stacy Lewis - the latter fresh from her British Open victory two weeks ago.
Two Brits in action on the first morning are England's Jodi Ewart and Catriona Matthew of Scotland.
Matthew is taking part in the contest for the seventh time and is the most experienced member of Europe's team.
The four Europeans not in action in the first session are: Carlota Ciganda, Caroline Masson, Giulia Sergas and Charley Hull.
Despite winning the Solheim Cup four times, the Europeans have never won on foreign soil having lost all six previous encounters in the United States.
