The greens have been micro hollow tines, granular fed and over-seeded with bent. This seed and feed plan works better in wetter climates, ie Cornwall!
The 2nd green is now under a germination sheet to keep the warmth. The green has been over-seeded and we would hope to have this back in play by the beginning of April, once the temperature has increased. We are still getting overnight frosts. The 16th hole has now been turned, rolled and seeded. We would expect to see some growth once the soil temperature increases and our plan is to turf around the green surround to within approximately 1 metre.
Some good news is that I am feeling a hot summer is on the way, but don’t come looking for me if it doesn’t turn out that way!!
