The Trethorne Ladies Section has doubled in its numbers over past two years or so, and is a friendly, fun and relaxed group to be part of. The section has its very own identity and it is one of Trethorne’s key objectives to continue to grow and develop the Ladies Club.
The Ladies meet on a regular basis for both competitions and matches, and also for more informal events such as the monthly Ladies Coffee Morning, which takes place on the second Wednesday of every month.
If you are new to the game or simply looking for a fresh start, the Ladies Club at Trethorne is the ideal place to pick up your clubs and a great way to meet new friends.

Lady Captain’s Report 2014
“Hi everybody. Here are a few paragraphs about me that i hope you will find interesting.
I lived in Kent, and although some parts are very beautiful, it is a very busy area. My husband was due to retire, and we always said we wanted to live in Cornwall when the time came. Because he is a very keen golfer, I knew that if I didn,t learn to play I would become a golf widow, so time for action!
I decided to take a few lessons and I soon realised how much I enjoyed the game and how quickly I became addicted! I was a member at West Malling Golf Club in Kent, and enjoyed the company of the lady members, and nearer to retirement time we started taking golf breaks to Cornwall.
We stayed at Trethorne a couple of times and decided this was the club we wanted to join for several reasons. Not only has the course got spectacular views and is well maintained all year round, we also found all of the staff, no matter which department they covered, were friendly, polite and helpful.
I will finish by saying that golf is a game you can enjoy as a team or even a practice round on your own. I am so glad that I took the opportunity to enjoy playing golf.
I am very proud to be Lady Captain for 2013/2014 and I will do all that I can to do what is expected of me.”
Mrs Rosemary Cobb, Lady Captain 2013/2014
