Trethorne has introduced a new programme of overseeding on all tees and surrounds which has made dramatic improvements in the grass coverage of these areas.

Supplied by leading seed agent, Rigby Taylor, the Mascot R9 Premier Tees Renovation mixture used is made up of four Top Green perennial ryegrasses. These grasses have been specifically developed to be finer leafed and denser through dedicated seed breeding programmes. This significantly improves their drought tolerance making them now one of the first to recover following dry conditions.

This overseeding programme has enabled Trethorne to produce a higher quality playing surface throughout the year.
