Trethorne is due to play host to a team representing the famous La Manga Club from the Murcia region of Spain during the first weekend in September 2008. This is scheduled to be a regular event following the visit of a team representing Trethorne to Spain earlier in 2007. Unfortunately, Trethorne were well beaten on that occasion over a 3-day Ryder Cup format, so will be seeking sweet revenge later this year!
